Wellness policy
In order to protect the health of the children in our care, Vkids has developed a strict wellness policy: We will not admit a sick child into class. By adhering to our policy, you are helping to ensure that your sick child gets the proper care and you are preventing other children from getting sick.
Symptoms
Please do not check your child into class if he or she is currently experiencing any of the following symptoms, or has had these symptoms within the past 48 hours:
•Fever or pale/flushed skin color
•Diarrhea Vomiting/stomachache
•Watery/red eyes
•Cough Sore throat
•Excessive sneezing
•Stuffy/runny nose (regardless of color)
•Unexplainable rash
•Extreme fatigue/lethargy
Here are a few more details to be aware of:
1.Recent Illness: Children who have been ill within the past 3 days need to have had at least 48 hours of non-medicated recuperation time before coming to class.
2.Possible Illness: We will ask a parent to remove their child from class if we suspect they have a contagious illness and have not yet seen a physician.
3.No Symptoms: A child who complains of not feeling well needs to remain with their parent, even if no symptoms are present yet.
4.We cannot administer medication. If a child requires medication during the service, we ask that the parent administer it.
Thank you again for your attention to our wellness policy!
